Power snooze … yes, good term! Though ours tend to last 4-5 hours!

I would say that most of their sites are dog friendly – but many in Italy and Spain only allow one dog, so we can’t venture to these ones unfortunately. Yes, the necessity for budgie smugglers nearly derailed poor Toby’s holiday!

Lol – it’s a very real issue in many places in Europe, apparently. The reason they give is that if you wear baggy shorts you could get sucked into the water pumps (yeah, I know!) All I know is that you have to avert your eyes quite a lot when at a south Europe swimming pool!!

When I was a child we didn’t tend to venture abroad much – we had a touring caravan and Dorset/Devon seemed to be the ‘norm’ for holidays.

After a long drive, it’s just what you need isn’t it?! To feel a little bit pampered!

This sounds like my son … many years ago we towed our caravan to Switzerland. In one of the food stores he found what he called the ‘world’s biggest babybel’ … in honesty it was the size of his head. Every time we go to France that’s the first thing he goes off to look for – the giant babybel!

We’ve slept in the car so many times now, it’s become part of the adventure. The children have their snugglesacs to bed down in, and so long as I have a cup of tea before locking the doors I will sleep a good 4-5 hours

We choose our sites by the extensiveness of the waterparks (and the sites being dog friendly). The kids love splashing around in the pools and bombing down water slides
