I ‘think’ this was intentional with their advert though – just like the other person says it’s all about the microbubble bubbles (???) … They are implying that none of us know what we’re talking about, not even the independent coffee shops, except them. They all talk rubbish, with their 4 x 1/3rd and microbubble bubbles, whereas they are plain speaking with their easy-to-understand definition (which is wrong!)

I was commenting on the ratio of coffee, milk and foam, you can’t have 2 thirds coffee, a third milk and a third foam, but I notice that someone else has also commented on this. Obviously no 10 year olds helping with the advert, they would have spotted this !!!

A flat white isn’t made with espresso, it’s made with ristretto. This is the biggest difference between a flat white and a cappuccino or a latte.

How can you have 4 1/3 rds?
Should the coffee be 4 1/4s ?
Or mah be another mathematical combination, but the advert promotes 2/3rds coffee 1/3rd milk 1/3 foam! That’s 4 1/3rds????
