Baylis & Harding Men’s Citrus Lime & Mint Backpack

Lloyds Pharmacy has some lovely gift sets for every member of the family this Christmas. The Baylis & Harding Men’s Citrus Lime & Mint Backpack is a great collection of toiletries for men who like sporty, fresh citrus scents. I was asked to review this gift, and I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of it. I’ve been the recipient of gift set ‘smellies’ on previous birthdays and Christmases, and they are usually quite disappointing with a lot of packaging and teeny tiny product ‘samples’. This wasn’t the case with this set though. Before looking inside, the indigo blue canvas backpack is of a good size that will be great to use long after the products have been finished. The backpack is lovely and soft, yet looks durable too. I’ll be using it to carry my Cub Scouts equipment when I take my troop out on night hikes.

This kit is ‘sporty’. It’s ideal for the man who enjoys playing Sunday football or other vigorous sports and likes feeling refreshed and invigorated afterwards. Citrus and lime with mint is a great combination. Inside the backpack I found:

♦ 250 g pack of Bath Soak Crystals
♦ 200 ml bottle of Shower Gel
♦ 100 ml bottle of Hair & Body Wash
♦ 100 ml bottle of Body Lotion, and
♦ 50 ml bottle of After Shave Balm

I tested the set following a long and vigorous dog walk and my favourite product from the above has to be the bath crystals because of the fresh citrus scent and its ability to relax me. A bath is a rare treat for me, as life gets in the way of quality ‘me time’ so it’s usually a quick shower between commitments. I’ve been using all the others in the shower, and I’ve been told that they make me smell nice! I’ve even been using the body lotion … and according to my wife, that’s a miracle in itself!
