Olverum comes from the Latin oleum verum, which means ‘true oil’. This bath oil is a luxurious mix of ten essential oils that help ease stress and relax tension in both mind and body … tell me you don’t need that after a day of running around after the kids?! My children are no longer babies, but are at school, yet I find myself constantly stressing over afterschool clubs, packing school bags with the right contents and kit, what to pack for their lunch, have they done/got their homework, any letters need handing in … I am, in effect, my children’s PA. I manage their diaries and all the mundane tasks that they simply take for granted. On top of that I work! I have a house to upkeep. Dogs to walk; Friends to meet – assuming I can find time to escape for a few hours. It’s relentless! At the end of a (typical) long day, I really do need to wind down – else I’ll be wide awake in the early hours and exhausted the following morning. I’m sure you can all relate to this. Life is, somewhat cruelly, really stressful and ‘busy’.

But then I was given the opportunity to try Olverum bath Oil. Just a 5ml capful swished into a bath of warm water was enough to lift the day’s stresses from my shoulders. Breathing in the aromas from the eucalyptus, lavender, fir, lemon, rosemary, verbena, lime, juniper and geranium oils cleared my head: I relaxed (to the point of nearly dozing off). It was a lovely escape from reality. Afterwards, I slept like a log and woke up refreshed and ready for the daily routine. My skin looks more alive too and feels lovely and soft.

I love Overum Bath Oil so much I actually look forward to having a bath. For years I’ve just grabbed a perfunctory shower as it’s quicker, but now I like to schedule a long soak in the tub! It is luxury ‘me time’ that I thoroughly look forward to (and I think I deserve it :))
