Wicked Outdoor Booma

I love playing Frisbee with the kids and when the opportunity arose to test the new outdoor Booma sports boomerang by Wicked I jumped at the chance. Made in the UK and with a designed flight range of 15-20 metres it was just the job for a day out in Windsor Great Park, Berkshire. Three children aged between 7 and 10 7 years (and two adults) had great fun with it. Word of warning though – it does takes a little practice to throw properly! After about 20-30 minutes everyone was having a great time and acrobatically catching throws.

It was a little more difficult to get the Booma to return (as all good boomerangs should) but I am sure with a little more practice everyone will be a total expert – we ‘nearly’ got it to work, but it hit the ground shortly after turning in the air! The Booma is well constructed in sturdy red plastic and should, without the intervention of dogs (we have previous experience of this with our two chew-mad spaniels), last a lifetime. To keep the kids fit and as a beach toy it is just a brilliant addition to your luggage – we now take the Booma on every picnic and beach visit. It’s quite addictive!
