chillipeeps 3-in-1 Teat for Feeding Babies On The Go

The chillipeeps 3 in 1 teat has to be one of the handiest baby items to have in my changing bag and I can’t believe I’ve only just discovered it. My little girl, Cooper, is 9 months old and my second child so her routine is pretty much non-existent as she has to fit around my son’s school run and busy after-school schedule. As a result we often have to feed on the go so anything that makes my life easier is great by me.

Having read the simple instructions, I washed and sterilised the product, and popped it in my changing bag ready for our next outing. We didn’t have to wait long as that afternoon we had a baby group followed by school pick up which clashes with Cooper’s afternoon bottle so usually I have to take a feed with me. This time instead of taking a Tommee Tippee bottle out with me to decant the ready-made formula into, I left armed with the sealed teat and a ready made bottle. It was so easy to use! It comes with two ends attached to a central screw ring plus two protective covers. As I use Cow & Gate bottles, I only need the screw in teat but there’s also a spike attachment to use in any carton. It was really as simple as screwing the teat onto the bottle.

The teat itself is Vari-flow and has three markings around the teat to indicate the speed at which milk will flow. I started Cooper on the slowest (1) to see how she adapted to the new shaped teat but she took to it perfectly and even grabbed the bottle herself for the first time. It looked strange seeing her feeding directly from the Cow & Gate bottle but it certainly didn’t bother Cooper.

I could stop here and conclude this is an awesome, simple to use product but I’d be selling it short as within a minute of feeding her other mums had flocked over to me to ask what I was using. They all thought the product was great and I totally agree. While it’s not the worst thing to take out sterilised bottles each time I go out, they do take up room especially when out for the day. I only wish I’d known about this before I’d gone on holiday. It would have saved me taking bottles, sterilising and of course lots of washing up! I would highly recommend this product to formula feeding mummies. Easily this product deserves 5/5!
