EarMoji DJ Style Stereo Headphones by Groov-e

EarMoji Headphones from Groov-e are very ‘on trend’ this season. The pair we received to review were promptly adopted by our 10 year old daughter. Mind you, they are very much ‘her thing’. Thank goodness the emoji wasn’t the ‘poo’ one as then they’d have to be shared with her brother (and sharing rarely works in this household!)

These EarMoji headphones are a good size (40mm), with adjustable padded headband with swivelling ear cups for a fully bespoke comfort fit. Millie-Mae said: “I love them dad and no way are you getting them back.”

…So while she was at school, I stole them back just to try them out on some real music like Mozart, Bach (and Coldplay) and they were very good (good tone, clear sound). I believe the quality is equally as excellent for One Direction, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Pharrell Williams. My son ‘borrowed’ the headphones to use on his iPad and almost caused an international incident by going into big sis’s room… “Dad, she hit me! … But the headphones are great for listening to YouTube videos and playing RoBlox and Best Fiends.”

Millie-Mae has got ‘her’ EarMoji’s back now and they are locked up during the day as “she can’t trust any of us, except mum”. So there you have it, how a pair of EarMoji headphones can cause World War Three before Donald Trump. Seriously though, my positives are that the EarMoji’s are a good size and not too heavy. The sound of these EarMoji’s is very good for music ranging from mainstream pop to classical and even for audio books. I would recommend them for teenagers and trendy adults as they make a great accessory for a mobile phone or tablet. But if you have two kids, get two pairs of EarMoji Headphones as they will both want some…
