Review: Our Lucky Children Try Out Cyberjammies PJs!
PJs … nightwear, pyjamas, nightshirt, nightie … whatever you call them, we all have a favourite pair, don’t we? Quite often the comfy ones are the most worn – dare I say a bit over-loved and shabby? At PackThePJs, especially the children, this is definitely the case. They’d live in their pyjamas if we let them. When we had the chance to review two pairs of PJs from Cyberjammies, the children decided they’d pick pairs for themselves. Us adults miss out yet again, tsk.
Millie-Mae chose a pair of Clara woven long sleeve swan print pyjamas from the women’s range, while Toby picked a Henry long sleeve placement print thermaknit t-shirt and woven train print pyjama set.
They arrived beautifully wrapped with tissue paper, ribbon and a lovely gift box. It felt ‘quality’ before you even lifted the lid. An ideal gift, if ever I saw one 🙂
Millie’s swan print PJs were so soft to touch – cotton yet with a silky feel. I am quite jealous of them actually … They fit her perfectly and the bold print really appealed to her. The top has a revere collar and button front, while the trousers have pockets and a functional drawstring waist. She has worn these PJs a lot; they are definitely her current ‘best’. However, after a couple of washes the button holes in the top appeared to stretch a little, causing the buttons to pop open too easily. This was easily fixed by a couple of stitches in each button hole.
Toby’s pyjama set has a woven ‘t-shirt’ top, which again is lovely and soft. It fits him perfectly. The trousers were slightly long, due to me choosing a size above his current age. He loves the train print on them. Again, he has worn them a lot and tells me they are really comfortable.
Each set has been washed a good 3-4 times now – and they wash really well. They haven’t lost any colour, and there’s been no shrinking or stretching. The only problem we’ve had is with the button holes of Millie’s top, but it was easily rectified.
When we travel to see grandparents, friends or other relatives, we always make sure that ‘good’ nightwear has been packed. These Cyberjammies are now our ‘go to’ items in the PJ drawer when packing the children’s weekend bags!
From the moment the PJs arrive in their impressive packaging, to wearing and washing, Cyberjammies are a quality product. The material feels so lovely to the touch; I can only imagine how comfortable they must be.
