Review: Olverum Bath Oil Travel Set

Last year we were lucky enough to be offered a chance to try out Olverum bath oil. You can read our review here.

This summer, we received an Olverum Travel Set to review. This set of three 15ml bottles is easily enough for 9 baths as a little goes a long way. The packaging is beautiful, and strong. On the outside is a card sheath printed with the brand logo and product details. When you remove this sheath, you discover a strong white box with a simple word design. And when you lift the lid off the box, you find the three bottles set into a dense foam base. Definitely no chance of damage during transit or while on your travels.

Because Olverum is such a luxury feeling product, it was the first item I packed in my suitcase when preparing for a dream holiday to the Maldives. We were blessed with the most amazing outdoor bathroom in our villa, with a beautiful deep outdoor bathtub. The setting, and the gloriously scented oils, made for the most luxurious bath ever!

About Olverum Oil

Olverum is ‘magic’ oil – that’s what people say about it. Each natural ingredient was chosen with a specific therapeutic benefit in mind. Whether it is a direct effect of the oils on my skin, or the ‘de-stressing’ that occurs while soaking in the bath, I don’t know. Maybe a bit of both. It does leave your skin looking, feeling and smelling amazing. It also leads to the best nights’ sleep ever!

Our thoughts …

When I travelled to the Maldives I was a broken person, mentally and physically. I had just lost my mum after a long battle against illness. I was exhausted and emotional. At the end of the holiday I returned to the UK ‘mended’ and ready to face our new lives without a key member in it. While in the Maldives, and while on our Abu Dhabi stopover, I relaxed in an Olverum Oil hot bath every night. It was the perfect end to some perfect days.

I am certain that the essential oils in Olverum helped me to relax, to sleep, and to help recharge both body and mind. We all lead stressful lives these days and often forget to look after ourselves as we put others before us. Time can often be found for a relaxing hot bath, and mine will always be a relaxing luxurious Olverum Oil bath. Once you try it, you won’t want anything else, I guarantee!
