Sistema 460ml Twist ‘n’ Sip Water Bottles

The weather we have had recently has highlighted the need for everyone to keep hydrated and healthy in the hot sun. Whereas most people might reach for a bottle of soft drink I think it’s cheaper (and nicer) to have your own drink in a good resealable bottle – and at least then you know what is in it! Sistema bottles have a. unique Twist ‘n’ Sip lockable cap which is not only leak-proof but also provides a more hygienic way to drink. Even more importantly, having tested them – they are also kid-proof (twist it closed and there is nothing to damage)! By kid-proof I mean that my two children have tried literally hundreds of drinks bottles of the latest snazzy or indestructible design and without exception they have all ended up in the bin … The Sistema bottle has already out-lasted them all and is still going strong.

So what makes it good for children? Firstly, the bottle is made from Linear Low Density Polyethylene (soft so that it absorbs knocks without breaking). They are BPA free (the bottle does not have any of those nasty plasticizing chemicals). They are also 100% lead free. The bottles are easily washed in the dishwasher and if you need to give it a quick cool on hot days, there’s no problems with popping them in the freezer for a spell. The 460ml volume is perfect for kids and the bottles come in five groovy colours: green, aqua, purple, pink and black.

The body of the bottle is grooved for easy gripping and the dimensions of the bottle are 7 x 18.9cm so that it can easily fit into a school bag.

But why stop at the kids? If you need a decent sports water bottle for use at the gym, or while out on your bike or running, the Sistema Twist ‘n’ Sip is for you – they are really good value too, at just £2 each on Amazon at the moment – it certainly won’t break the bank.
