Do you have any ‘difficult to buy for’ people on your Christmas shopping list? Do you just want to show your appreciation for someone with something special? Have you ever considered ordering a luxury hamper? I never had, but I think I would now.
Let me tell you a story … Many years ago, while at university, I visited a friend’s apartment in central London. Well, to be accurate it was his parent’s multi-million pounds apartment. It was exquisite. In the hallway was this huge – and I mean huge – wicker basket, with a known ‘posh’ store brand emblazoned over it. I was told it was a Christmas present to his parents from a happy client (I vaguely remember his dad being a tax accountant!) The hamper was incredible. It must have taken two delivery drivers to carry it to their door. I sneaked a peak under the lid and just the items visible looked so indulgent. I was jealous!
Luxury Christmas Hamper from Prestige Hampers
25 years later, an opportunity came along to review a Luxury Christmas Hamper … do you think I hesitated much? Nah! It arrived two days later in a big, heavy cardboard box. Inside was a wicker hamper – but I waiting until the children came home before I opened it. When we did, this is what we found inside:

As you can see, there’s something for everyone here! And it has been really lovely as each evening we’ve been picking a treat to share while watching the TV. The stuffing has been put away for December 25th.
In a way, it’s the gift that keeps on giving. The children have enjoyed elements of it; as have Huw and I. It’s just been really nice – and of course I have a lovely wicker hamper to reuse ?
Now, let me think. Who can I send one too?

I always ‘want’ to make hampers … but I’ve never got round to it!
I love getting hampers as they are normally full of treats that you love but probably wouldn’t buy yourself
