Happy New Year! 2017 was a defining year for PackThePJs. More than that – it was the year when the old KidzCruises ‘website‘ became the all-new PackThePJs ‘blog. And we’ve not regretted the rebranding and refocus one bit. We’ve made some amazing parent, lifestyle and travel blogging friends and we’ve had a huge amount of fun along the way. We’ve reviewed exciting toys, travel gear, gadgets and so many Advent Calendars that our daily door opening took an age! It was brilliant 
Visits to shows, film previews, restaurants … on top of our ‘usual’ cruise ship visits! We travelled to lots of interesting and exciting places. Baltimore, Gibraltar, Abu Dhabi, the Maldives, Grenoble … as well as exploring lots of the Norfolk coastline and revisiting ‘old haunts’ in Wales.
2018 we aim for ‘more of the same’. We have no travel plans, but that’s how we roll … we’ll book exciting places a week or so before we go! I’m sure we’ll clock up a few air (and road) miles over the following 12 months. My blogging ambition is to ‘master’ Pinterest (or just get my head around it will be a good start!) Huw wants to visit more brand new ‘super-sized’ cruise ships (hopefully taking me with him!) The children are keen to get more hands on too, with ambitions to produce regular YouTube ‘Let’s Play’ videos, because they are addicted to watching the same! Millie-Mae, who we recently discovered has a flair for poetry, has been tasked with writing us a ‘poem of the month’. And on that note, she’s penned this for a New Year Celebration …
