Visit an interactive historical exhibit
History is one of those things that can be very interesting or very boring, depending on how it is taught.
If you have to sit through a dull history class, where the entire point is to memorise endless lists of dates until you want to scream and jump out of the window, your aren’t likely going to have a great time.
These days, however, there are more and more interactive historical exhibits out there, which allow you to try out the clothing of the time period, watch (and participate in) re-enactments, and more.

Stop by the local planetarium
There is no age limit on a fascination with the cosmos. If there was, NASA would probably stop sending out Mars Rovers on a regular basis.
Planetariums have been around for a while now, but continue to grow more sophisticated. A trip to the planetarium will typically involve you lounging back in a comfortable chair, and being virtually transported to the heavens, as an advanced projector array turns the dome ceiling into a map of the stars, constellations, and a journey through space.
