We recently held a Crazy Glow birthday party at Jump In Trampoline Park in Slough, Berkshire. It was a party for four children, who each brought a friend along (so eight in total); they all had birthdays, ranging from 11 to 14 years, in the same month. Toby and Millie-Mae were two of the birthday children, and my friend’s children were the other two. We chose Jump In in Slough as it was equidistant between our homes. The party was booked for noon on a Saturday, and we were all geared up for it to be packed!
Jump In, Slough
The centre was easy to find using our sat nav. It is right behind the Mars chocolate factory 😊 Jump In’s car park was quite large yet over half full when we arrived (totally full when we left 2 hrs later), but that was because it was a weekend, and lots of parties were taking place.
Arrival
At our assigned arrival time we were guided towards the VIP door that led upstairs to a party area. Here we met our party organiser (Tom – lovely guy; told me he was a sports teacher during the week), and the children were given jump socks and containers to leave their shoes and coats in.
We had a few minutes spare, before heading down to the safety briefing room, so we took some photos…
Tom took the children into the safety briefing, a quick rundown of the rules of the park and expected behaviour … and then they were free to enter the jumping area.
Facilities
Some adults in the party followed the children around taking photos, while others found a good table and queued for coffee.
The café was large enough for us to sit together, and they offered a good range of food and drinks.
Junior Area
None of our children were young enough to need to use the baby/toddler area, but for little tots it looked really good, with Little Tyke vehicles to ride in, rockers, as well as a soft play area.
There is also a buggy park here (also super-convenient to the café!)
For older children and adults, where do I start!
Main Jumping arena
The room is dominated by many, many trampolines.
There is also a battle beam, where the children seemed to take forever to climb out of the foam pond they ended up in!
If you are brave enough, there are platforms at various heights where you can jump off into a giant air bag.
Dodgeball is always a favourite … and highly competitive it was too!
In a separate area there are climbing walls, drop slides and climbing towers … lots of energy required here!
The venue wasn’t overly busy, which was good – but we were told that within a couple of hours they were expecting a LOT of people (so we timed it right!) In all, the children played for around an hour. When they were called, we were taken up to our party area.
Party
Our party table was on the higher level, with large windows overlooking the trampoline park.
The children were offered squash and pizza – we picked a mixture of margherita and pepperoni. The children used up so much energy they were certainly not going to share any of their food with the adults!
We then had cake (which we took along with us) and sang a collective happy birthday before finding our shoes and belongings and bidding our host farewell.
Our journey home was just under an hour. I reckon both children were fast asleep within the first 10 minutes, and they didn’t wake until we pulled onto our driveway! Result 😊
Our visit
Organising a party is always stressful, but this one was so straightforward I felt a bit of a cheat! Everything was done for us. Our party host took full control from the moment we arrived until the minute we left. The children had a lot of fun and used up a lot of energy. The good thing about a trampoline park party is that it appeals to all ages, even the difficult teenagers! And the lovely peaceful drive home was a bonus for the adults!

Oh I love trampoline parks! We did a joint one for Harry and Megan’s birthdays last year and the kids adored it!
I never thought to do a party at Jump in. What a great idea. Mine love it at jump in, they could jump for hours if given the chance.
Doing birthdays like this are becoming more and more popular for families, we did something similar for my nephew and his close friends.

We love Jump in! The kids love it, come away needing a sleep and they do they really good coffee!

Well doesn’t this place look amazing. We’ve always thought that these types of places are great for kids to release so much energy! But it’s something that we have yet to do.
The kids love it when they get an invite to a jump party, love the sound of the no hassle everything done for you, instead of 6-8 excitable girls for a sleepover! Mind you with seven children I can pretty much just have a party for themselves!
Great idea for a party. My two are little but they loved the toddler session we did at our local trapoline park last year.

I have a 12ft trampoline behind my garden and I think it would be great when me and my kid can jump together. But no, I think I should bring them here now.
