In the PackThePJs household, Nerf is a brand we know very, very well. Toby is OBSESSED with the blasters. Last Christmas we had to import his Nerf Terrascout Remote Control tank from the US! As he’s got older, he’s moved on to the more ‘elite’ blasters – those that fire balls rather than the darts. But we also have two spaniels … and they love eating the ammunition!

Kikkerland MxyKikker Wind-Up Toy
MxyKikker is a wind-up critter/bug with long legs and antennae. It’s a robo insect that can climb over quite large obstacles. MxyKikker by Kikkerland even walks upside-down if required. The toy, from the New York-based toy company Kikkerland Design, is just brilliant. It is clockwork and is just the thing for inquisitive minds learning about engineering. It is also fantastic fun.
