Gift 1: Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again DVD

Most people I know love Mamma Mia, the original film. I wasn’t so sure at first – absolutely love ABBA, but found the singing a bit, well, awkward! But then I watched it again, and again … and again. And I was hooked! The scenery is beautiful, the songs amazing – what’s not to love? And now there’s a sequel, and it’s really good, and it’s just been released on DVD. Great stocking filler? I certainly think so!

Gift 2: Marsala Red Leather Cross Body Bag

I love this bag. It is a beautiful deep red wine colour, and it has a strap long enough to cross round me (with strap to spare!) It’s a very stiff leather – typical satchel-thick leather – but I know that with use it will loosen up. Inside there’s a small zip pocket and the inside of the bag has space for your purse and phone. Gift 3: Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur

This is a lovely limited edition gift from Chambord. Available from most supermarkets for just £8, this 20ml bottle of liqueur comes in a beautiful purple box, decorated in raspberries. There four two cocktails suggested, all of which sound lovely (and I’ll be trying them all!) The first is a Chambord Royale – basically you top a glass of champagne or prosecco with 15ml of Chambord, with a fresh raspberry to garnish. The second is a Chambord Bramble: 25ml Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur, with 25ml gin and 20ml fresh lemon juice, a lemon wedge and crushed ice. The third suggestion is a French Martini: 20ml Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur, with 40ml vodka and 60ml pineapple juice. Finally a Chambord Collins: 25ml Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur, 35ml gin, the juice of two lemon wedges, ice cubes and soda. So this is a gift with a lot of potential!

Gift 6: Cyberjammies

We love cyberjammies. Millie-Mae has a pair that are over 18mths old – she wears them every other week, and they still feel ‘as new’. This set are lovely and festive. The bottoms are a red-based berry print, made of 55% Cotton and 45% Lyocell. The fabric is lightly brushed, and the back is elasticated. The top is a Rosie long-sleeve slouch knit pyjama top feels so silky and light; made of 95% modal, 5% elastan – it looks super-comfortable. A beautiful present.
