Gift 2: Mia Tui Jennie Travel Bag

From a distance this just looks like a really nice bag. But there’s so much more to it! On the back you have a sleeve pocket; when you are travelling with a wheeled suitcase/carry on, the bag sleeve slips over the handle and the bag sits safely on top of the suitcase. The inside of the bag is a beautiful azure blue colour, and is waterproof. There are lots of pockets which come with their own accessory bags; there are clips for your keys, insulated bottle holders, and phone and pen pockets. The pockets are big enough for iPads, Kindles and tablets. The Jennie measures W40cm, D15cm, H30cm (width is taken from the base of the bag). This is a great looking bag, with features that make organising and travelling easier.

Gift 3: True Grace Orchard Verger No 12 Candle from Amara

This hand-poured candle smells divine. Handmade in England and presented in a zinc container, the natural wax is scented with apple, peony, lily and musk. Available at Amara.

Gift 4: Wrendale Design 2018 A5 Desk Diary

This is my diary of choice for 2018. I am a huge fan of Hannah Dale’s Wrendale Designs, and I love that you can buy the designs on mugs, breakfast sets, placemats, napkins, trays, tea-towels, oven gloves … and also stationery – pens, notebooks, address books, wall planners. And don’t forget desk diaries. My 2018 diary is one-day to a page, and on every page there’s a different animal design. It’s too large to carry around in my bag (if you are reading this Wrendale – can we have an A6 version next year?!) but I love it. I love looking at the designs.

Gift 5: Tile Style Product Tracker

Tile Style helps you find your keys, phone, anything! You attach it to the item you don’t want to lose. You connect it via Bluetooth to the Tile app on your phone/computer, downloaded from downloadtile.com. Once connected, if you mislay the item, you go to the app and if it is nearby it will ring. Gift 6: Angela Langford Balancing Act Daily Moisturiser

Gift 8: Alaska 2 Suede Turkish Slippers from Moshulu

Without a doubt these are the best, most comfortable slippers EVER. And … they are in purple! Moshulu are a Devon-based company who make exceedingly good footwear! The fake fur lining is SO plush … your feet are cool during the summer and warm during the winter. They are lightweight too. I love these slippers 🙂

Gift 9: Elsa Fairisle Pom Pom Hat from Joules

I LOVE this winter’s pom pom hat craze. But … I have read the stories that some high-brow brands have been using real fur. I don’t like the killing of any animal, least of all for a pom pom for a hat. And it’s so unnecessary, when you have lovely hats like this one from Joules … with a faux fur pom pom. Fake is great in my eyes – and I love this hat (please take note Huw!)
