The park spans 160 acres of parkland and gardens in Oxfordshire. We know this isn’t your typical London trip, but trust us this is not something you are going to want to miss out on.
Around 350,000 people visit this park every year from all over, where you can enjoy talks from the keepers about the animals, learn about what they are fed, the history of the animal and any events that are taking place. This is an especially good idea if you are bringing your children on your adventure as they are going to love it. Do make sure that you find one of the amazing Cotswold lodges to stay in for duration of your trip so that you can feel cozy, and you don’t have to travel miles every day!
Cheese Rolling
Finally, if you head over to Gloucestershire at the right time of year, you are going to find that there is a cheese rolling event. People from all over the world take part in the event, and you can too! It is fun for everyone and the aim is to chase the right pound wheel of cheese down a steep hill. To catch this event, you need to be there for the Spring Bank Holiday. It is something different for you to experience, and goes further than your typical sightseeing and touring!
