Have you ever come downstairs in the morning to find a ‘big deposit’ on the carpet in the living room belonging to a pet? No? Oh, just me then! Well, this game is about just this scenario, and how to pass the blame. Who Did It? is a card-based game for 3-6 players of ages six and above. The game is quite dynamic and, as with all good family games, involves some shouting and slapping of cards on the table (as well as a lot of laughter). We played during the recent half-term holiday in a campervan in a woodland in Scotland and it was a perfect setting.
This is actually the type of game that Toby loves playing, just as long as big sis’ Millie doesn’t become too competitive and start cheating. But of course, as the responsible adult you have to be prepared to lose to keep the peace…
How to Play
Who Did It? from Blue Orange Games is a card game where the object is to get rid of all your cards. You pick a card set colour. Then you start with the youngest player; players then compete and race to get rid of their cards so that they can avoid being blamed for owning the animal that took a poop. So, you place a card, e.g., parrot, and say for example “was it your dog that poo-ed on the carpet because it wasn’t my parrot?” Everyone races to put their dog card down first to prove their dog innocent. You can then either blame another animal or another person’s dog and they have to put the relevant card down super quick. The round ends with someone’s pet being found guilty.
If no one has the card left that you blamed, it will backfire and your pet is guilty. Or, when one player has one or more cards left and everyone has got rid of the relevant card – then their pet is guilty. Essentially you bluff people to get rid of your cards. But you must remember what card has been played already so memory skills are essential. If your pet is guilty you get a POOP token and then you start again. First to three POOP tokens loses!
Confused?
Its difficult to explain in words how to play. I think its best to play and learn as you go while having loads of fun. It’s the type of game we like to play as a family. Fast, furious with a quick turnaround. Everyone can win. You have to be quick to find your card and then be the first to throw it down, then blame someone else’s pet for the mess!
It’s a brilliant game, easy to learn, quick and simple to play. Also, it’s in a very neat box so its easy to fit into hand luggage.

Haha! What a good idea for a game. Anything that’s fast, frantic and errr…. has the word ‘poo’ in it is going to be a winner. Love that it’s small enough to be portable. Can you imagine what people would think if you whipped this out on the Eurostar 🙂
You’re right – anything to do with poo is a game winner that’s for sure!
This game sounds hilarious 🙂 and just the sort of game for everyone on their holidays esp if they’ve got a naughty dog 😉
We have two VERY naughty dogs …..
This looks like a lot of fun, the kids would love a game like this and its easy to take on travels too
Yes, it’s a small box – can easily pack it in a day bag

It’s a simple game – quite quick – but it’s fun

There’s a lot of competition for ‘poo themed’ games out there! And I think we’ve probably played them all!!
My kids would LOVE this! Great that it’s portable too!
It’s a very small, highly portable game (not much bigger than a set of Top Trumps)
This sounds like fun! My kids would find it hilarious!
Oh it’s fun!
I am always on the hunt for things which will keep kids entertained while we travel. We have a treehouse stay planned at the end of the month and I am not sure how they are going to cope without electronics!!
Oh how cool is that! Yes, plenty of games!
This is the kind of game I think my kids would find good fun x
It’s quite funny!

Sounds like a fun one – I love that there are now legitimate board games about poop! 😀 My kid would love this, though he’s not too great at fast paced games…he obviously needs the practice.
Lol – it’s quite a shouty game, and you’ll be amazed how quickly they pick it up
Oh my kids would LOVE this! It definitely sounds like fun and they are of course obsessed with things like poo!
