SAVIOR HEATED GLOVES
“Weaving warmth in every product”
A few years ago we decided to visit Alaska, in February! We ‘thought’ we had planned well for the cold weather … but there’s cold, and there’s Alaska cold! We went snowmobiling for a day out of North Pole near Fairbanks. Our guide kept checking our faces for frostbite, but I’ll never forget how cold my hands were that day. I had thick gloves on but they may as well have been made of paper for the warmth they gave. I imagine skiing would be similar or motorcycling during winter? In these situations a pair of heated gloves comes into their own.
These Savior Heated Gloves (RRP £149.51 – 10% code below) are rather excellent. They are substantial gloves, with three adjustable heating settings, using advanced carbon fibre heating elements for efficient warmth. On the highest setting they will heat for 2.5-3 hours on a single charge; on the low setting the battery will last for up to 9-10 hours. The gloves have a 7.4V 3000mAh battery, which starts heating up within 3 seconds. You can control these settings via an app on your mobile too. The gloves incorporate 3M Thinsulate insulation, which is lightweight and moisture-resistant, making it ideal for warmth in damp and harsh weather conditions. Be cool on the slopes this winter, by being warm!

Whether you travel for business or for leisure, being able to easily charge and connect your tech while on the move is important. It’s actually rather stressful, making sure you have the right adapters, leads, batteries etc. The last thing you want is to have to hunt down cables in foreign countries. Or even at an airport, at eye-watering prices! That’s why this CONNEX cable hub from krafted (RRP £29.99) is such a valuable tool to keep in your bag/carry on. This adaptor provides a simple compact solution that not only provides standard charging capability but also PD charging and data transfer, usually only available with higher specification cables. ANIMAL CROSSBODY BAG FROM MOUNTAIN WAREHOUSE
“Carry your essentials with ease”
When travelling to hot countries, the last thing you need to carry around with you is a heavy bag. Backpacks are cumbersome and not particularly secure. When all you need to carry around are your travel documents, money, sunscreen and mobile, a cross-body bag works a treat. It is lightweight and you can wear it in front of you providing added security.
This navy-coloured Animal’s Women’s Cross Body Bag (RRP £19.00) is the perfect size for your travel money and your day to day essentials. The spacious compartment with two inner pockets ensure essentials can be carried with ease, while the adjustable strap offers comfort and versatility. This bag has been designed to accompany you on all your adventures, whether urban jungle or the great outdoors. The dimensions are 30cm L x 17cm H x 9cm W. Available from Mountain Warehouse.
AVIATOR SUNGLASSES FROM GLASSESSHOP
“High-quality and affordable eyewear”
Aviator sunglasses are a classical style icon. Think Tom Cruise in Maverick (or indeed anything else he is in come to think about it!) All you need is a convertible sports car or a cool motorbike, Levis and a clean white t-shirt! Seriously though, we’re talking about prescription sunglasses. Really important for eye health during sunny summer days. These Will black Aviator sunglasses (RRP $29.95) from GlassesShop are stylish and robust, and extremely good value. They are also prescription glasses (if you need them) with options for single vision and bifocal lenses and various tints and coatings. Delivery is fast, the glasses are of high quality and prices a lot lower than ones bought on the High Street.

B.BOX INSULATED BOTTLE

A travel-themed gift guide wouldn’t be right without a water bottle. Drinking water while travelling is of paramount importance. You want your drink to be warm in cold weather and ice cold during hot summer days. This insulated drinks bottle from b.box (RRP £28.00) keeps drinks warm for up to eight hours and cold for up to 10 hours. They’re all amazing but the adapter hub is a must…I am always always forgetting a cable or a connector, so frustrating. This solves a ton of problems.
That adapter hub is the single greatest thing I’ve ever seen! We are CONSTANTLY trying to find adapters for our tech!
I love that cable adapter! It is a must have especially when travelling! You can never be too ready on the go!
I’m absolutely in love with these gloves. I work outdoors, and these gloves have been a lifesaver in the freezing weather. The three heat settings are great, and the highest setting is almost too warm sometimes! The build quality is excellent, and they’re super comfortable to wear all day. I’ve already recommended them to my coworkers.
All those are a must when you are a traveler. But the compact charger is the one for me.
Travel is a really good category for gifts! I really like the travel bottle and the eye mask.
I am constantly thinking about portable charging options. Especially when out and about and also now my kids have phones too. That is such a great little gift idea. Heated gloves would also be amazing too, I was so cold today!
Such great suggestions and ideas that are useful for the Christmas season. I love the cable adapter hub so much and will even buy that as a gift for myself, LOL!
The cable adaptor looks like it could be game changing. I have the phone/ watch charger and it’s so cool how easily and small it folds down x
That scooter is reasonably priced. I like it because it has bigger wheels than I’ve seen.
Love your recommendations for travel lovers. So many practical gifts in my opinion!
I would be lost without my cross body bag when i am travelling . Great gift ideas here
I enjoy traveling, and these would certainly all come in handy. That adapter for a variety of USB plugs is so interesting! I get frustrated trying to match cords to tech items and it would be nice to have that on hand.
