We’ve had our share of pets over the years … a ferret (Roland), chinchillas (Oscar and Morris), gerbils (Pip and Pep), a duck (Quackers), cats (Thomas, Jack, Jill, Rita), and dogs (Sophie, Ben, Jack, Barney, Scooby). We currently have three pets – Supercat Roddy, and Jack and Izzy the spaniels. Our pets are faithful companions, the best listeners, the best company, the ones that always greet you with a tail wag, or a loud meow. They mustn’t be overlooked at Christmas. We have three personalised stockings hanging over the fire, one for each pet – so what should Santa put in them?
